I don't normally see much in rock formations but these really look like a couple of people -- or critters -- looking in the same direction. Carl called this area the "cherry on top." He was right. Probably my favorite photo of the whole day. I love the way so many of the mushroom caps have fallen off. A little orange lizard with spots. He was quite patient with us. This was right near our lunch spot, from a viewpoint down in the little wash. Detail of lichen on a remarkably textured rock -- near the beginning of our walk. Random hoodoos along the way.
